When life give me Covid pandemic

I build a home studio in my house’s garret

I believe everything in life is material for art—that’s how art speaks to its time.

Due to the isolation of the COVID pandemic, I didn’t step outside for eight months straight. That was when I decided to build a home studio with the help of my sister so we could create photo concepts and pass the time together. The limitations on commuting and buying supplies during isolation pushed me to work with unfamiliar materials found around the house to bring my photographic concepts to life. My mom’s wedding dress, my late grandmother’s jewelry, an old torn doll, and fabric cut from unused clothes—all became part of my creative process.
